  • 7th Grader Landon Stillwell Wins Middle School State Golf Championship

    On Saturday, September 28th, 7th grader Landon Stilwell and 8th grader Brady Smith played in the Middle School State Golf Championship which was held at Quail Chase in Louisville. Both Landon and Brady shot one-under par for a score of 71, which put them in a two-way tie for first place. A sudden death playoff would determine the winner.

    This past weekend, the CAL high school Cross Country team sent their top 7 boys and girls to the Franklin County Invitational, held at the Kentucky Horse Park. Under a clear sky, 287 ladies lined up to take on the open, hilly 5k course. The gradual, uphill start separated the pack as the runners entered the first of several tight turns.

    Grace Walker and Chrissy Popovich traveled to Bowling Green for the Bowling Green High School Invitational played at Bowling Green Country Club. Chrissy Popovich holed out her 2ndshot from 108 yards on a par 4 to record an EAGLE! She also had a birdie to finish with a very solid 82.

    On the gorgeous Saturday morning this past weekend, the CAL HS Cross Country team started the season with a strong showing in the 5k Tiger Run.     The Kentucky men's basketball team will take the John Calipari Satellite Camp Tour back on the road in June. This season's tour includes nine stops throughout the Bluegrass State.
