Service Chapel, New Receptionist and Blossoming the Cross

I think you would agree . . . Rock Creek is simply unique! Students, parents, teachers, and staff make our campus “the best little school in Louisville”.

First, let me say THANK YOU to the parents who served as hosts for our Spring Open House last week. We experienced a 28% increase over last year’s event. Thanks for sharing your personal experiences and please continue spreading the Rock Creek story with family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.

Please welcome our new receptionist, Ely Saldeen. Ely brings extensive administrative and computer application skills to this position. She is already making noticeable improvements throughout the Rock Creek office through the creative use of technology. Ely previously served as a nanny and preschool teacher. Ely resides in Louisville and attends Southeast Christian Church. We are excited to have Ely as part of our Rock Creek family!

During yesterday’s Service Chapel, we collected over 400 pounds of shoes for WaterStep.org (formerly Edge Ministries). This organization delivers water filtration systems to third world countries. Thank you to all who participated! A child will now have access to clean water thanks to your generosity.

Next week we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus during our annual Blossoming of the Cross, a rich tradition that creates life-long memories for our students and staff. Parents, note important times and dates below:
