'Tis the Season

December is a busy month with numerous distractions: making lists, shopping, baking, planning family gatherings, attending concerts and parties, etc. Yesterday in Chapel, Dr. Shell and fifth graders presented an entertaining skit reminding us of the distractions of the season. The skit ended with a powerful focus on our Redeemer, Jesus. Please ask your child about chapel and be aware of seasonal distractions that may affect your family. Let’s commit to praying for each other so our focus remains on Jesus.

Speaking of distractions, today the weather forecast is certainly a distraction. Will we have a snow day tomorrow or Monday? Like, you, I will be notified when a text message is sent from CALert. If you have not registered with CALert, please do so today. Access CALert to receive notifications regarding school closing or emergencies.

End of Second Quarter
Academic work continues until December 20! Remember absences and tardies affect learning. Our desire is for students to be well rested and arrive daily, ready to learn!

Lost and Found Clothing
During December 16-20, all lost and found items will be available in the cafeteria.  Please stop by and look for lost coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, etc.  On December 20, all remaining items will be donated to Goodwill.
